There's an art to putting paint down and removing it!
Lifting is a fantastic technique for removing unwanted paint. It can be done with wet or dry paint. But it works best when the paint is wet.
Here are a few pointers;
- Wet paint works best.
- Be sure your brush isn’t too wet, or saturated with water.
- This may create cauliflowers.
Remove dry paint with a brush that has firm bristles. - Use a clean paper towel to help remove excess paint and water.
- Avoid using your best brushes to remove dry paint. An older, perhaps stiffer bristle brush will work better.
